Tips for Commuting to New York City
If you're zipping to the Big Apple from Freehold, you'll want to plan your route like a seasoned explorer. If you're living your best bus life, expect a 60 to 75 minute commute. The bus stops are plentiful around town, so you won't have to trek far to hop aboard.
While trains are an option, the Aberdeen-Matawan station is a smidge further out, so it'll take you around 20 to 25 minutes to get there from Freehold.
But, if you're feeling fancy and adventurous, the Belford Waterway ferry is another option! Keep in mind, it's located in Middletown, so it'll be a bit of a drive. But hey, it may be pricier, but who can deny the thrill of a ferry ride into the city that never sleeps!
